ABN Amro EDM project turns to next phase

ABN Amro has completed the first phases of an enterprise data management (EDM) project with Pacemetrics in time for the official split with the part of the business it sold to the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Misys' treasury rejects vendor's own OpicsPlus in favour of IT2

Industry sources suggest that Misys spent over a year trying to implement its own OpicsPlus system in its corporate treasury, before giving up and signing for IT2. However, Misys adamantly denies this, claiming that it considered OpicsPlus only briefly and has never attempted to install it internally.
