Some may turn to 'magic' grids or 'hype' waves, ingenious devices in which suppliers and their systems appear in a positive light no matter how you look at them. But are you any wiser as to which system meets your needs? Especially when every supplier featured in these grids claims to be a ‘leader’ on each of their corporate websites.
There is no magic and no hype in good research. Just facts. Indeed, let’s call that fact number one 'There is no magic or hype in good research.'
IBS Intelligence: Investigation and independence in everything we do
Every word of every IBS publication is written by ourselves, we do not accept contributed articles or advertorial and, within our consulting and publishing remit, we have no ties with any suppliers or other third parties. Our aim is to cut through the high-level generalisations and supplier-based hype, to deliver the facts.
Using one of our market reports on a supplier and its system, for instance, you will end up knowing the strengths and weaknesses, the successes and failures, the functionality and technology, what the customers think, the history and the future.
We also publish the internationally respected annual IBS Sales League Table (SLT), which is universally acknowledged as the barometer for global core banking systems sales activity for over 19 years. Unlike other sources of vendor rankings and tables, the IBS Sales League Table highlights what is actually happening in the market, as it is based firmly on unbiased primary data. Everything is cross-checked against our own records and independently verified with the customer where necessary.

Also in other areas such as integration, Business Intelligence, etc.. there is no magic. If you do not have thorough and actual FACTS, the quality of information will be incomplete and unreliable.
