Open Solutions and its debt of nearly $1 billion join Fiserv family

Fiserv has confirmed it has bought rival Open Solutions. In two years there will be a new core system for credit unions, thrifts and non-traditional banks, offered by Fiserv, consisting of Fiserv's Acumen front-end and Open Solution's DNA core. Its sights are set on the global market.
