The world's largest building society, Nationwide, has had a fraught few years implementing its new core banking system but it now looks ready to reap the benefits, which could in turn put pressure on its UK competitors. IBS talks to the society's outspoken COO, Tony Prestedge, about what has gone well… and what has not.
