Linedata nears go-live at Northeast Investors Trust

Boston-based mutual fund, Northeast Investors Trust, is nearing go-live of the Linedata Mfact back office accounting software from French vendor, Linedata. The testing phase is nearing completion and cutover is scheduled for late April 2013.

First phase of UAE DDS initiative set for June go-live

The Direct Debit Scheme (DDS), a national initiative in the UAE for electronically processed payments, is set to launch on 15th June 2013. Initially, the DDS will cover loan and mortgage repayments, with credit cards and utility payments expected to be rolled out by the end of Q1 2014.

Capgemini has re-energised its relationship with SAP on the core banking side as it anticipates an increase in the SAP for Banking uptake worldwide. SIA underpins EBA Clearing’s MyBank initiative

European Banking Association Clearing (EBA) has launched its new MyBank e-payments channel. The system is underpinned by technology from Italy-based payments provider, SIA, and 28 institutions have joined the initiative in the first phase. Case study: Burgan Bank Group – Same but different

Burgan Bank Group is attempting to standardise its operations by rolling out the ICS Banks core banking platform from Jordan and UK-based vendor, ICSFS. The system is live in one of the six banks within the group, and projects at three more are scheduled for completion within the next year. Alaric secures first win in Indonesia

UK-based payments processing provider, Alaric, has gained a new taker of its Authentic platform at the Indonesian subsidiary of a large Netherlands-based bank.
