As a consultant I would like to have a better understanding on the drivers for changing core banking system, as well as how to decide which system fits well to a bank, and implementation issues.

Dear Mahareny,
Many thanks for commenting on our website, I am sure you find our website and several of our publications most useful in your research.

Firstly, I would strongly recommend you register free on our website at the link below to read this free extract article on the drivers for changing a core banking system, as well as three free preview case studies:
www.ibsintelligence.com/.../

Once you have been able to review these free previews, please consider ordering our Core Banking Systems Case Studies resource featuring 62 real-life core system implementations, from selection through to go-live and results. These would be an excellent reference for you as we interview the senior IT managers at each bank and explore why they wanted to change their system, how they went about it, what worked, what didn’t and how well it achieved their objectives. A subscription will give you full access to all 62 case studies (plus 3 new ones are added each quarter for the duration of your subscription) plus you will also receive access to the complete drivers article here.

I would also recommend our flagship IBS Journal, which contains further in-depth case studies and analysis of system selections and implementations, plus our newly released core banking system Sales League Tables for 2012 (new-name deals Jan-Dec 2011), and I include a link below to the tables for your review:

We are also due to publish shortly a new ‘How to Select & Implement A Universal Banking System’ guide which may be of interest to you. Details of this publication will appear in the next few days on our website, but please let me know if this is of interest as I can send you an information sheet in advance.

All best wishes and thank you for visiting our website today

Dear Maharany,

Apologies, I also meant to highlight our Core Banking Systems Benchmark 2011 which features the system replacement plans and drivers of 88 banks across 53 countries. The repsonses are anonymous but this benchmark will be another key piece of primary research into the drivers behind core banking system replacement, and also the technology priorities for the 88 banks polled:

All best wishes
Jon
